Tis the Season to Be Attentive

So much of our spiritual lives is about being attentive to the on-going, creative work of the Spirit in our lives. Ironically, Christmas can be so distracting, so engaging for us as ministers, we are the one who forget to make space for the incarnate God who came to walk among us. We are the ones who miss Emmanual with us.
This article by John Ortberg in Christianity Today is a timely reminder…with Christmas only days away, that this season of Advent is about staying attentive to the coming of Jesus in the moments of this day.
There is a quote in there by Gary Hamel that should become a game-changer for you.

Take some time now to read it slowly, relfectively and thoughtfully.
